These terms govern your use of Pineappl. By creating an account, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are part of this agreement, and our Community Guidelines for the plain-language version of section 4 and 5 below.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Pineappl. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate. One account per person — accounts may not be created on behalf of someone else, or shared between people, except where a couple account is explicitly created to represent both partners.
Pineappl is not currently available to residents of the United States. Registration from the United States is blocked; if you register from outside the United States but later relocate there, you must stop using your account. See our 18 U.S.C. §2257 Statement for why.
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. Profiles are reviewed before they become visible to other members; we may decline or later remove a profile that doesn't meet our standards, with a reason where we can give one.
You keep ownership of the photos, bio text, messages, and other content you post. By posting it, you grant Pineappl a license to store, display, and transmit it as needed to operate the service — for example, showing your public photos to other members, or a private album to the specific people you've granted access to. This license ends when you delete that content or your account, except where a copy reasonably needs to persist (e.g. a message you sent still shows up in the other person's conversation).
You're responsible for what you post. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, or that depicts someone else without their consent.
Pineappl is a consent-first community. The following are never allowed, anywhere on the platform:
Adult, sexually explicit content between consenting adults is part of what Pineappl is for — this section sets the rules that make that work safely and lawfully.
We rely on both our review process and member reports to enforce these standards — see our Content Removal & Abuse Reporting page for how to report something, including if you don't have a Pineappl account. Violating them can result in content removal, suspension, or a permanent ban, at our discretion, without refund of any unused subscription period, and — where the content constitutes evidence of a crime, such as non-consensual imagery or content involving a minor — a report to the relevant authorities.
Some features require a paid Plus or Premium subscription, billed as described on the Plans screen at the time you subscribe. Billing, cancellation, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If your plan changes and you have more lists or albums than your new plan allows, we lock (not immediately delete) the excess — see that policy for the full process and timeline.
Pineappl helps you meet people, but we can't verify everything a member tells you, and we're not involved in what happens if and when you meet in person. Use ordinary caution: verify who you're meeting where you can, tell someone your plans, and meet in a public place first. Report anyone who makes you uncomfortable or who violates these terms.
You can stop using Pineappl and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, poses a safety risk, or where we're required to by law.
Pineappl is provided "as is." We work to keep it available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular outcome (a match, a conversation, a date) will happen. To the extent permitted by law, Pineappl is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or for the conduct of other members, on or off the platform.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app before it takes effect.
