This page explains how to report content on Pineappl — whether or not you have an account — and what happens after you do.
Non-consensual imagery, content involving a minor, or an immediate safety threat: email abuse@pineappl.app directly. These reports are treated as urgent regardless of how they reach us, and don't require a Pineappl account to submit.
Every profile, message, and event has a built-in "Report" option in the app. Reporting from inside the app is the fastest route — it automatically attaches the context our review team needs (what was reported, by whom, and when), and lets you check the outcome later from the same place.
You don't need to be a member to report something on Pineappl — for example, if your own photos were posted without your permission by someone else. Email abuse@pineappl.app with:
| Report type | Typical response |
|---|---|
| Non-consensual imagery, content involving a minor, immediate safety threat | Reviewed as a priority; the content is taken down while under review if the report is credible on its face |
| Harassment, impersonation, other Terms of Service violations | Reviewed by our moderation team, generally within a few business days |
| Something you simply disagree with or find distasteful, but that isn't a violation | Reviewed, but may not result in removal — see our Community Guidelines for what is and isn't allowed |
Depending on what we find, we may remove the specific content, restrict the account, suspend it, or permanently ban it — see our Terms of Service for the standards we enforce. Where content appears to be evidence of a crime, we may also report it to the relevant authorities.
If your own content was removed or your account was actioned and you believe it was a mistake, reply to the notification you received, or email abuse@pineappl.app, and we'll take a second look.
Reports and questions about this policy: abuse@pineappl.app.
