Community Guidelines

Pineappl works because people feel safe here. These guidelines are the plain-language version of what we expect — the legal version lives in our Terms of Service, but this page is the one we actually want you to read.

Consent comes first, always

Never post a photo, video, or detail about someone else without their clear, informed consent — including consent to be on Pineappl specifically, not just consent to have their picture taken. If you and a partner share a couple account, make sure you're both genuinely on board with everything posted.

Adults only, no exceptions

Everyone on Pineappl, and everyone depicted in any content on Pineappl, must be 18 or older. This is the one rule we enforce with zero tolerance and no room for judgment calls.

Think before you make something public

Public profile photos are visible to every member, not just people you've matched with. Explicit content is welcome on Pineappl, but you choose where — a public profile, or a private album you share one match at a time. When in doubt, start private.

Respect a "no"

Persistent messaging after someone stops responding, pressuring for photos or personal information, or any form of harassment isn't tolerated. If a conversation isn't going anywhere, let it go.

Be who you say you are

Use your own photos and honest details. Don't impersonate someone else, misrepresent who's behind an account, or use a fake profile to see what other members are doing. Meeting matches in real life is also how the "Socially Proven" badge below builds up — it's the community itself vouching that a profile is genuine.

How "Socially Proven" works

When you and a match have met in real life, either of you can confirm it from the other's profile — a single tap, no write-up required. Once a profile has been confirmed by 3 different matches, it shows a "✓ Socially Proven" badge to everyone. It's a simple, honest signal — not an ID check, and not something we verify ourselves — so use it as one input alongside your own judgment, not a substitute for it.

What happens here, stays here

Don't screenshot, save, or share another member's photos, messages, or private album content outside Pineappl. Someone shared it with you, on this platform, on the understanding it stays here. As a gentle reminder of that trust, your name may appear as a subtle watermark on photos you view. Beyond that watermark, we can also verify who's seen what — see our Privacy Policy for the details. Members can turn the visible watermark off for their own photos in Profile → Photos, though we can always verify this, watermark or not.

No soliciting

Pineappl isn't a marketplace. Advertising escort or commercial sex-work services, or asking members for money, isn't allowed.

Say something

If someone makes you uncomfortable or breaks these guidelines, report it — from the profile, message, or event in question, or see our Content Removal & Abuse Reporting page if you don't have an account. Reports are reviewed by a person, not just an algorithm.

What happens if you break these guidelines

Depending on what happened, we might remove specific content, restrict certain features, suspend the account temporarily, or ban it permanently — without a refund of any unused subscription period for serious violations. See our Terms of Service for the full detail.
